Where to begin..? Well, I got there a little early, so I was around to hear some of the soundcheck. They were playing "Beware of Darkness", and it sounded great. The theater was pretty small, but that meant there wasn't a bad seat in the joint (unless someone much taller than you took a seat in front of you as was initially the case with me.). i was supposed to fly to cali to see the bangles twice but i cant so i had to cancel my trip to cali

Went to the place to get my tix and, wow, what an intimate setting it will be. Great place. They were also nice enough to give me a Sid and Susie poster which I hope I will get autographed that night. Cannot wait.

First off I'd like to say it was a very big venue and almost sold out. I do not even know how many people it holds but I'd guess over 20,000. Stage was way too far to get to compared with enterance and parking. So walking very much sucks.

It didn't really get publicised much around here, but the gurls played a gig at a private party for the Cisco (this ain't no party, this ain't no cisco!) corporation the other night. It was an '80s night' thing, and I think the setlist was mainly the hits. There are some clips on youtube if anyone's interested:

Back on Sunday April 19, 2009, my car's support frame that holds the transmission and engine suddenly fell out as I was driving along getting ready to make a right turn. When it came time for the Bangles' Falls Church show (May 23), I still had no means of transportation to get there.
