I saw Lita sing and play an electric guitar last night in Santa Rosa California.
It was kinda sorta like a class reunion, in some ways.
She looked beautiful and in great physical health.
I had seen Lita play back in 19-something in San Francisco a couple of times,
and last night she looked stronger than ever,
as her hands and fingers hit all the notes perfectly.
About 200 people were present, I stood close to the stage.
Her set list included..."Back to the cave", "Playing with fire", "Cherry bomb",
"Cant catch me", the Ozzie duet "Close your eyes", "Kiss me deadly", "Hungry",
and I think "Queens of Noise".
I bought her book at the merchant's table, it was autographed in silver felt pen!
This morning I was eating breakfast at a diner in town and I read a few pages over toast and coffee.
I like the book,
it reads like a breeze and I remember being at some of her early solo shows
that are mentioned in the book fairly easily.
Last night's concert was a very good show, nice and loud and all up tempo.
On the day after I was still feeling great and I had made short film in the concert hall of Lita singing.
I used an Amazon Fire tablet with it's video camera to record a couple of numbers
when Lita was playing a white electric guitar with two necks.
Lita's show had many great songs in it,
(:-D) and I now have some "live" Lita footage for my own!
